Keith learned how to sail on Lake Harriet here in Minneapolis in 2006 and is a member of the American Sailing Association with certifications in coastal cruising, navigation and qualified to serve as a basic keelboat instructor. Keith has served on the board of directors for the Twin Cities Sailing Club as well as the Northern Lights Sailing Club. As a member of the Wayzata Yacht Club Keith has served as crew for several racing teams on Lake Minnetonka. Keith has served as crew for several offshore ocean passages including from Hampton VA, to St. Martin; Cartagena, Colombia to San Blas Islands Panama; Bayfield Wi to Isle Royale (Lake Superior); Orange Beach AL to Isla Mujeres, Mexico and most recently skippered a passage from the Bahamas to Florida. Keith has skippered numerous cruises include over 15 in the Apostle Islands, Lake Superior (2007-2019), The British Virgin Islands, The US and Spanish Virgins Islands; St. Lucia and the Grenadines; Newport, RI and the San Juan Islands. Keith is planning to participate in a crossing of the Atlantic Ocean from Newfoundland to Ireland in August of 2021. Your 2 hour sailing session with Keith will be on Bde Maka Ska (Lake Calhoun) on a 21 Foot Ensign which is stable comfortable boat even for first timers. You and your group of 4 will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the experience or learn a little about sailing. This offer is good through Spring-Fall 2022
